woodworking magazine
Where do I find out if some magazines I have could be considered collectors’ items?

I don’t want to invest a lot of time in research, nor do I want to hang on to them if they’re not worth something. (They’re about woodworking.)

Just because they are collector’s items, that doesn’t mean you’ll get a pretty good chunk of money for them. Woodworking is pretty much an old art. Whatever they may have talked about then, newer publications have improved on them or reprinted the articles.

I go to antique stores and you’ll see some LIFE magazines about WWII and they may have these magazine for $20, yet they’ve been in that antique store for 20 years because no one wanted to spend that price on them.
