Woodworking and Kids

Now-a-days peoples don’t know how to do lots of things. For instants, some years ago people learned in school how to do Woodworking Projects or how to sewing. Is that happening today?

No, in school we only learn the classic subjects: physics, mathematics, chemistry. But if they were interested, or if parents encouraged them, would that be different?  Today video games and computers use the all free time kids have. And they don’t learn some basic things they could use one day in their lives.

What about woodworking? Why is woodworking so important? It is a passion that lots of people have. But children don’t care about that. They aren’t forced to learn it in school and after that they have so many things to do that they don’t want to learn this type of stuff.

We everyone should have some hobby that can produce something. Some can’t even imagine how good it is to finish a project (of anything) and see how beautiful what we did is. And people don’t do this only because they need to do all furniture in their homes. It’s because it makes you a richer person! For instants, if you see a girl who does her own clouds you will probably think she’s special. She is not as all the other girls that follow “fashion rules”. Knowing different thing makes us have an identity, makes us different from everyone else.

We need to see what makes us who we are; we have to create our identity. Having a healthy hobby is one step to be unique.
